Q: When can I start decorating for my wedding?
A: All weddings follow check-in time of 3:00PM and check-out time of 11:00AM. Due to other misc. events taking place the day before your wedding, it's necessary to allow time for housekeeping to clean up. It's possible that you may decorate earlier IF there is no other event scheduled the day before your wedding. It's recommended that you reserve the pavilion the day before the event in order to decorate at your leisure. The cost to rent the pavilion the day before is $200.00.
Q: Do you have an event coordinator?
A: No, we do not provide an event coordinator. This helps us to keep the cost down for our guests. We do, however, provide a list of vendors that will help ease the organization of the event.
Q: Do you provide Catering?
A:We recommend Catering Services that serve awesome food plus great prices.
Q: What types of vendors do you offer?
A: Catering, Beauty Services (hair, nails, make-up), Photographers, Flowers, Music/DJ's, Jewelry, Bartending Services, Alcohol, Shuttle/Bus Services, Additional Lodging
Q: Where on the property may I hold the wedding ceremony?
A: The wedding ceremony may be held at the gazebo or any other spot that you wish... as long as we can accommodate the seating and arrangements at that particular location.
Q: Is the pool available during the wedding?
A:No, the pool is not part of the wedding packages. The pool will be closed to all Creekside Resort guests during the wedding ceremony. The pool will reopen immediately after the wedding ceremony to all guests who are not associated with the wedding.
Q: Can we serve alcohol?
A: Yes, you may serve alcohol. Please provide us with a One Day Event policy (certificate of insurance). Also see below information regarding a wedding contract.
Q: Do I need to sign a wedding contract?
A: YES, you are required to sign a contract that states the following: 1. Cost of event that was agreed upon 2. Payment terms agreed upon 3. You will not hold Creekside Resort owners and employees liable for any damages that may incur during the time you are on the property for the event. 4. You will pay for any damages that may incur during the time you are on the property for the event.
Q: Can you explain the Carriage Ride for the bride?
A: The Carriage Ride is a beautiful feature that all brides enjoy to the fullest. It is a magical moment that all attending will experience. You will be accompanied by the person who will be walking you down the aisle and you will not be seen by any guests until you show up in the carriage before the ceremony. You will be taken 1/4 mile down the road by Creekside staff to a location in which the ride will begin. After the ceremony is over, you and your groom will be picked up at the end of the aisle for a short ride before pictures.
Q: Do you have a the prices of the Wedding Packages in the website?
A: Yes, there is a red button on the Wedding Tab named RATES for your convenience. It's a printable pdf file.
GENERAL RESORT QUESTIONS:
Q: Do you provide WiFi?
A:YES, WiFi is complimentary at the Resort.
Q: Do you allow pets at the Resort?
A: Yes, we have 3 cabins that are PET FREE and the maximum number of pets allowed in each cabin is 2. We have a pet fee of $35 for the first pet and an additional $15 for the second pet. We appreciate owners to clean up after their pets and keep them on a leash at all times.
Q: Do you offer CELL SERVICE?
A: Yes, turn your cell phone on WiFi calling to receive and send calls throughout the resort. We also offer cell service at the pavilion. Our remote location lends itself to a peaceful environment however we have a "land line" phone that serves our guests needs for emergency or social situations.
Q: Are there convenient stores, restaurants, and gas stations close by Creekside Resort?
A: YES, 8 miles north or south of the resort are very nice restaurants/convenient stores that provide general groceries/supplies and gasoline.
Q: How far away is the closest town to Creekside Resort?
A: 18 miles north of Creekside is Everett, PA - 20 miles southeast of Creekside is Hancock, MD - 30 miles southwest of Creekside is Cumberland, MD.
Q: Do you provide linens?
A: YES, we provide linens for the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchens.
Q: What items do you supply for each cabin?
A: Each cabin has a refrigerator, stove, plates, utensils, glasses, coffee cups, bowls, limited mixing bowls, silverware, pots/pans/baking trays, pot holders, measuring utensils, grill utensils, coffee pot and filters (coffee not provided).
Q: Do you provide lawn chairs for the fire pits?
A: NO, we do not provide lawn chairs for the fire pits. Please bring them with you.
Q: Can we use the pavilion if we rent a cabin?
A: NO, the pavilion must be rented separately.
Q: How many people does Creekside Resort accommodate?
A: Lodging = 35-40, Pavilion = 200.
Q: Are you open year round?
A:YES, we are open through all seasons!
Q: Do you have laundry facilities?
A: NO, we currently do not have public laundry facilities for our guests to use. There is a facility in Everett, PA (18 miles north).
